Story.
The film is inspired by Japanese modern dancer Ichi-Go. She reinterprets the ancient Shinto ritual dance of Kagura in a contemporary way.
Odori is a trance-like dance where the performer becomes a temporary vessel for a god.
The story follows a woman who is physically pulled from her claustrophobic reality into a dark, mythic landscape, where she fractures into multiple, battling clone versions of herself, before falling into a dark void.
